Roving Roadblocks: Naming the Mutual Human Obstacle
It’s perhaps the most awkward thing that can happen while walking in a public place. Often it happens before you even see it coming. You turn a sharp corner to find someone else making that same turn. You block each other’s paths, creating a mutual human hindrance. But you’re both agile walkers, well versed in evasive walking maneuvers. You jump right, she jumps with you, you jump left, same thing. It’s like trying to outsmart a mirror! This continues until one person just freezes up or goes the same way twice.
