It used to be that national banks, taking the moral high ground, wanted no part in pot sales. Well, morals changed, and now they may just be taking the high ground. According to research, many in the cannabis industry have accounts with big boys like Bank of America and JP Morgan. Even so, the conflict between federal and state law on the subject of marijuana has made it tough for weed businesses to find institutions to manage their money.
PopNamers, please leave no stone unturned and give us a new name for pot-friendly banks. If inspiration fails and you need a way to enhance your creativity, well, umm, don’t ask us what to do.
