Cheesus Crust: Name Pizza Hut’s Cheeseburger-Stuffed Pizza
In its latest “crust innovation,” Pizza Hut UK just launched a stuffed-crust pizza studded with mozzarella-topped cheeseburgers and der, a ketchup dip. Eek…sounds like a recipe for heartburn to us, but apparently, it’s a hit in the Middle East, where it’s festively called the Crown Crust Carnival. Clocking in at “just” 288 calories per slice (um…that’s 2,880 calories for the whole shebang), it’s meant to be shared, but we’re guessing there will be solo eattempts. Since the UK is often a test market, this concoction may come to the U.S. because, you know, in crust we trust. What would you name this heartstopper?
