A Bone to Pick: Renaming Portland’s Broth Bar
PopNamers, take stock. Portland, everybody’s favorite hipster haven, has just upped the antipasto. Broth Bar, Portland’s first dedicated bone broth café, is scheduled to open this June. The folks at Broth Bar hail their broth as a restorative elixir, rich in gelatin and marrow, which turns each batch into what co-owner Tressa Yellig calls a powerhouse of nutrition. This is a bona fide broth movement! While we love the idea, and frequently lament the lack of stock options here at Catchword, we think this appetizing apothecary deserves a name as hearty as its meals. So soup’s on PopNamers, what would you rename Broth Bar?
