Spicy snacks have become a popular snack, especially with the introduction of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and Takis. With chili-flavored munchies becoming more popular, Amplify Snack Brands, the creators of SkinnyPop and Pirate’s Booty, is turning up the heat with its new Krakatoa Hot Chips flavored with real chilis! That’s right folks, the level of spiciness of these chips is measured on the Scoville Scale with each new flavor incorporating different chili peppers ranging from mild jalapeños to the terrifying ghost pepper. These chips go beyond the normal mild, medium, and hot and just may be too hot to handle!
We don’t mean to be jalapeño business, PopNamers, but we think this game is too sizzling to pass up. What would you name these fiery chili-infused potato chips?
