When is a divorce not a divorce? Apparently, when it’s a “conscious uncoupling,” à la Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s just-announced split. (Presumably following an unconscious coupling.) Which got us thinking: what other euphemisms might there be for the dreaded D-word? Come on, PopNamers, help the thousands of soon-to-be-exes who’d love to put a positive spin on their impending—how shall we say?—individuated state.
